FAQ

Q. What is Key Club?

A. Key Club is the oldest and largest student-led service program for high school students. Members of the Kiwanis International family, Key Club members build themselves as they build their schools and communities. Key Club has about 260,000 members in approx. 5,000 club and is represented in 37 countries.

Q. Do I have to fill out the Key Club form and pay the membership fee every year?

A. Yes, you have to pay the membership fee ($20) at the ASB window and fill out the form each year to be a member.

Q. If meetings are during Maker's time then I won't be able to make it (ie. I have other clubs or I am not at school for 6th period).

A. We tried our best to coordinate with other large clubs with meetings so they don't overlap, so we're really sorry if they do. :(

If you aren't at school for sixth period, then please personally let us know! :)

Q. Would the meeting run for the entire duration of Maker's Time?

A. Probably not, it'll most likely be around 10-15 minutes. :)

Q. Do members have to do hours for September?

A. If you were a previous member then yes. However, if you are a new member then no (since school just started). If you were a previous member, but couldn't volunteer as you didn't have any opportunities, please let us know!
